There is no doubt that these days many people believe that everyone should have basic appliances like a car, a television, and a fridge. The question is: does this bring more good or bad to our society? In this essay, I am going to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this idea.

Nowadays, many people are leaving the countryside and choosing cities to live and work in. Some people say this trend causes numerous negative issues; otherwise, some people say it brings a lot of benefits for a country. From my perspective, this movement causes both advantages and disadvantages.

Some students decide to attend university in their hometown, while others prefer to change city. Living home with their own parents has several advantages, especially related to economic reasons. However, it could bring also drawbacks, avoiding an opportunity to gain independence.

Some people debate that if high school students are encouraged to ask questions or critique their teachers, the quality of education will improve. Others say that this may breed disrespect and indiscipline in the classroom. Seeking clarification promotes better understanding hence quality education if at all done the appropriate way. However, if teachers are critiqued by their students or asked questions in an impolite manner, then this may be considered as lack of discipline and disrespectful.

Since the Industrial Revolution, people have started to move from the countryside to cities, looking for jobs and opportunities. This process is still ongoing today, even if, sometimes, it is not so simple as it could seem. Cities are bigger and overcrowded, for example. However, people continue to choose the city instead of town for many practical reasons.

Reading had been deemed as a favorable leisure activity in the children's development. It is even seen as one of the most effective means to educate young pupils through a hobby, but it is important to note that their learning should not be restricted to scholar activities. That is the reason why I believe that, although reading books can be useful for children, a wide range of different entertainments are suggested to them in order to maintain equilibrium in their social life.

It is considered that filmhouses would gradually lose customers and it is predicted that watching movies at home would quickly become the order of the day. Undoubtedly,while watching movies at movie theaters are fascinating and captivating,I am of the opinion that due to the advancements in technology,movie houses will soon become out-dated because people will rather watch shows from the comfort of their homes and save money for other leisure activities.

This often leads to increase waste and impropal disposal which causes damage to natural environment. There are many reasons associated with this cause and I will give some suggestions to tackle this cause.
