Some people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is in order to travel to or work in a foreign country. Others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Being multilingual is always a beneficial aspect. Few citizens think work or travel is the sole purpose of learning a foreign language. However, many believe that there could be other reasons to pursue a foreign lingo. This essay analyses the multiple reasons such as marital commitment and passion for other cultures.

The best way to solve environmental problems is to increase the cost of fuel for cars and other vehicles. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Just as society continues to evolve, opinions regarding immense pollution have also changed over time. Therefore, a fair amount of people believes, to reduce pollution government should put some extra taxes on fuel so people can minimize their unnecessary use. I do not accord with the former view because there are many effective ways to reduce environmental causes.

A rise in the standard of living in a country often only seems to benefit cities rather than rural areas. What problems can this cause? How might these problems be reduced?

It is commonly believed that cities benefit more from the improvement in the living standard of a nation than villages. I believe it can lead to some serious issues like overpopulation and the overuse of city resources. For me, government regulations and support are the major initiatives required to counter these problems.

In today's life,life is being simplified with the Advancement in automation.it is often argued that in years to come, people will only access e-books and read news online with no cost rather than purchasing physical books and newspapers. I strongly agree with this statement because the majority have become so fond of the internet.

Both lecture and the reading are discussing the cause of the decline of sea otters. The former is of the opinion that causes of predation decline. While the latter provides three points to support his belief about sea otter extinction.

It is undeniable that students now can learn a lot through the Internet, libraries, and TV. However, many people believe that teachers play an irreplaceable role in education and I agree with this idea.

Different people have various opinions regarding movies. It is considered by many that nowadays we do not need to go to a theatre because everything is available on our mobiles and tablets.However, others believe these gadgets do not give satisfaction, for full entertainment folk have to go to a movie house. Before arriving at my position both sides of the argument will be elaborated further.

our first mentor of life, first motivator, educator, the most reliable people on earth from day one of our life are only our parents. indeed they are our best teachers. in my opinion, I completely concur with that and because of the following two reasons I feel the way I do; moral values, and guidance, which I will examine in this essay.

I partially agree with this statement. In this essay, I will describe my reasons in the following paragraphs and conclude my view.

In recent years dependence on computer-based technology in everyday life has increased significantly. For millions of people, it is impossible to imagine their lives without computers, smartphones or other modern gadgets. The use of developing technologies improves and simplifies our lives and everyday activities, although there are definitely some drawbacks to such high rates of this growth.

it is argued that in the upcoming years, all individuals like to read newspapers,documentaries and books on the internet free of cost rather than buying printed newspapers and books. I totally agree with this notion because reading on mobiles is convenient, time-saving and eco friendly.

It is an undeniable truth that with the boon of the internet and advancement in technology it has become a trend to put knowledge about subjects on various websites from which learners can learn and I believe that it is deconstructive development because it has reduced the value of offline classes. Further paragraphs will be dedicated to discussing both pros and cons of this development.

Young people have a lot of free time and what they do with it is important. Shopping is considered a common free time activity among young people. However, many people believe that the youth should engage in other activities, and I completely agree with this. In this essay, I will discuss why shopping has become such a famous activity among youngsters, and why the youth must get involved in other useful activities in their free time.

In some countries there are more yung people choosing to enrol in work-based training instead of attending university. Do the advantages of this situation outweigh the disadvantages?

These days, education in the real workplace is becoming significant. Many teenagers in some countries seem to be more interested in job-based training than enrolling in university. Personally, I believe that there are numerous benefits for both situations. I will analyse both perspectives in the essay.

In recent years, the family structure has changed, as well as family roles. What are the changes occuring? Do you think changes are positive or negative?

In this contemporary world, the size of the family changes significantly.Due to changes in family structures roles also got modified. According to perspective having a small family will have good bonding than large families.I firmly believe that changes that occurred brought more benefits than drawbacks to society.

Some people prefer to spend their lives doing the same stuff and avoiding shifts. On the other hand, there are others who prefer challenges and changes. In my way of thinking, whilst I absolutely believe that both perspectives might be positive ideas, I prefer to take some risks in order to improve some aspects of my life.

Most high level positions in companies are filled by men eventhough the workforce in many developed countries is more than 50%female. Companies should be required to allocate a certain % of these positions to women. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Despite the availability of more than 50 % of working females in a lot of progressive nations, men hold the reins of the topmost designations. Considering this fact, many a man believes that a specific quota of such positions in multinational organizations can be allocated to women. I strongly agree with this as it not only will give fair chance to deserving ladies but also stimulates them to choose men-oriented domains.

It is a natural process for animal species to become extinct (e.g. dinosaurs, dodos, etc.). There is no reason why people should try to prevent this from happening. Do you agree or disagree?

Animal species extinction is considered to be a natural process, which seriously reduces genetic diversity. As this diversity plays many important roles in nature, avoiding this extinction is a must, especially, when it happens as a result of human activities.

in some countries young people are encouraged to work or travel for a year between finishing high school and starting university studies. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages for young people who decide to do this.

In a few of the nations in the world, it is preferred by the youth to take a gap year between the completion of school and starting college. In my opinion, It is beneficial because the time period can be utilized by acquiring the skills which are a trend with the recruiters. Along with that, they can also take a trip around some areas where they can observe and learn more about the needs of the society leading to idea generation if the interest if to set up their own business in future and are more inclined towards entrepreneurial ventures. However, the gap can be a drawback in some cases as few students are not able to do the planning of the activities which can be done and it can even turn out to be a waste of a full year which is not acceptable in a few top colleges.

Some people think that big sporting events are not worthwhile for the host country. Do you agree or disagree?

Whether arranging a significant sporting event is beneficial or not for the host country is a subject of debate. Although several public entities believe that it is not valuable for the inviting nation, I cannot entirely agree with such a notion, and I would argue that hosting a large-scale sporting event is relatively supportive.
