Learning in groups has always been an effective method. Group discussions on a certain topic brings out variety of new ideas as different minds work on the same topic. It has some flaws as well, like most of the times a group discussion ends up in a quarrel certain people tries to force their opinions. And so some people do not prefer learning in groups. Rather, they learn better when instructed one-on-one. As per my opinion learning in groups is better because one gets different opions and ideas over one topic of discussion whereas in one-on-one instructions one can only learn what has been taught by the instructor.

The minority of people argued about exams, that university gives exams, to which students have to put too much effort.
