Some people think that too much money has been spent looking after and repairing old buildings, so we should knock down old buildings and build modern ones instead. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

While many believe that renovation of old buildings can be costly, others argue that by knocked down the old one and rebuilding modern structures is considering to be an appropriate approach. The reasons why I agree with latter statement will be elaborated on in this essay.

Some people believe that vehicles which burn fossil fuels must be dispensed with car electric. In my opinion, I completely agree with the statement because it is cost-effective and non-environmentally friendly.

By 2030 it is estimated that over one third of the population in most developed countries will be aged 65 and over. What effects will these predictions have on developed countries if they prove true? what can be done now to deal with this situation?

The projected decline childbirth and increase in the older population in the advanced countries will have deep socioeconomic consequences. If these forecasts are confirmed, the labour power will shrink, leading to lower economic growth. A smaller working class could lead to labour shortages, productivity and innovation. In addition, there will be increasing pressure on pension and health care systems as a larger part of the population will be relying on health industry.

Handful of people opine that food products should be bought from local farmers rather than buying it from big corporates which made food travel thousands of miles before getting into hands of their cosumers. Buying food from local markets is definately advantageous and outweigh the disadvantages.
