People living in the 21st century have a better quality of life than the previous centuries. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In this today’s technologically advanced world, a school of thought holds that it is the lives of humans living in the 21st century that are worth living than ones in earlier centuries. I firmly believe that while the quality of life has increased as time passes, there are several problems which affect people’s living standards in this modern world.

It is often said “ when is Rome, do as Romans do”, do you think people should adapt and accept the culture of the country they are visit? Do you think it is possible to learn a culture without learning the language?

In my opinion, while visiting a foreign country, it is important to learn and understand their cultural norms and traditions as it will be considered as a respectful act towards the country's culture, also understanding of a native language plays an important role in learning about their traditions and customs.

Fresh water has always been a limited resources in some part of the world today, however, growing world wide demand had made this a global problem. What are the causes of the increase demand and what measures can government and individuals take to respond to this problem.

Water covers 70% of our planet.It is easy to think that it will always be plentiful.However the fresh, the stuff we drink , bathe in ,and irrigate our farm fields with ,is incredibly rare in fact, only 3% is fresh water from the world's water.and two-thirds is tucked away in frozen glaciers. To my mind,the polluted water and incorrect use also play a basic role in its limitation.the government can promote a powerful filtration system and spread awareness .

Social networking sites, for instance, Facebook, are thought by some to have had a detrimental effect on people individually and on societies as well. I mainly prefer that it has a beneficial impact on people but to some extent, there are some drawbacks for societies.I will discuss this in detail in my essay below.

There is ongoing discourse on whether accepting situation is best or not even if the situation can’t find genuine satisfaction. Some people might believe that accepting a bad situation is necessary; however, I firmly believe that it is crucial to improve such situation if individuals have compraint.

The human population increasing day by day across the world. It is the duty of all the states to provide basic necessities to the masses. So it would be a better idea for the governments to spend a large amount of their income on providing all the essential facilities to their citizens. On the other hand, some people think the preservation of wild animals is more important than human needs.

In mordern lifem, more and more young people take high postions in companies and organiszation than few years ago. This essay belives that work efficience with lower cost manaegement as well as better technology adaption are main fators leading to this trend. This human resource developments clearly have both pros and cons for indivuduals and society.

There is an opinion saying that youngesters are most effected by their peers in their thoughts and actions. From my perspective, Although there are a number of benefits involved in this approach, the drawbacks accruing to young people are by no means negligible.

Some individuals believe that universities should consider the preparation process to work market by giving graduates the knowledge and skills they need, while others support the view point that the main function of universities is to teach them the traditional curriculums. I would agree with the first trend, and I will elaborate on my opinion with relevant examples.

These days, there are more and more students go to university to find higher knowledges and more work opportunities. Some of them choose to go to a nearby university while still living with their family. However, some decide to attend university far away from their home. In my opinion, studying away from home give students more benefits. And in this essay, I will provide reasons about why I believe that students should studying away from home and my own examples.

It is known that exams are an essential part of the learning process. It is argued that evaluation systems includingtests and exams presist pressure on teachers and limit their ability for creation and innovation. Moreover, practice overloads youngsters. From my perspective, I partially agree with this statement. In this essay, I will give reasons supporting my assumption.

In recent years, students especially in university can study anything they want, so they have opportunities to learn other subjects besides on their majors. Some say that they should focus on their studies and not spend their time to study others, while other people disagree with it. In my opinion, they would be better to learn numeorus subjects as much as they can.

It is said that fertilizers and sophisticated machinery can improve food production yield. Nevertheless, some people believe that it could have adverse effects on people’s health and the environment. Personally, I entirely agree with this statement for some reasons, which will be elaborated on more below.

Many foods are shipped from far away. Some people think that eating local food is more environmentally and economically. Do you think the advantages outweigh its disadvantages?

It is often observed that various foods are either exported or imported from other cities or countries. Many argued that the consumption of local food supplies would benefit our environment and would be cost-effective. I think that the advantages of this practice outweigh the drawbacks in terms of sustaining nature and paying a lower price for crops and vegetation.
