Some people think that children who spend a lot of time reading children's story books are wasting their time which could be better used doing other more useful activities. To what extent do you agree ?

Reading had been deemed as a favorable leisure activity in the children's development. It is even seen as one of the most effective means to educate young pupils through a hobby, but it is important to note that their learning should not be restricted to scholar activities. That is the reason why I believe that, although reading books can be useful for children, a wide range of different entertainments are suggested to them in order to maintain equilibrium in their social life.

Watching news has been constantly deemed as a means to provide current information to people. Altough it might appear as a "waste of time", I strongly believe that being updated about current topics is beneficial as it helps medias raising public awarness as well as enhancing personal knowledge.

It is considered that filmhouses would gradually lose customers and it is predicted that watching movies at home would quickly become the order of the day. Undoubtedly,while watching movies at movie theaters are fascinating and captivating,I am of the opinion that due to the advancements in technology,movie houses will soon become out-dated because people will rather watch shows from the comfort of their homes and save money for other leisure activities.

Consumer culture and high paced nature of modern life result in high demand for goods, encouraging companies to produce at high rate and sometimes carelessly. This often leads to increase waste and impropal disposal which causes damage to natural environment. There are many reasons associated with this cause and I will give some suggestions to tackle this cause.

When talking about shopping as a hobby, I don’t think this is a positive trend as I believe overspending is not good for our environment. Yes, it is boosting our economy and helping distribute wealth across the population, but let’s think for a while, especially when we put our finger on the screen of our phone trying to open Shopee or Tokopedia. Did the fact that they put A LOT of plastic to pack theour barely useful goods that we saw on the TikTok Live doesn’t bother you??. In this scenario, while we selfishly fulfil our need to feelof feeling triumph, we also poison our kids and the environment with excessive waste.

Owing to globalization, some people argue that a foreign language should be complusary in educational institutions as it enhances communication skills and aids in securing careers.While in order to prevent overwhelming load of studies , others contend that it should be optional.I personally agree with the statement and believe learning foreign language can broaden worldview of a student.

While, others content this will not make much difference in improving public health and instead, other measures should be taken to achieve the desired objectives. This essay will delve into both viewpoints, ultimately aligning with a balanced approach of increasing the sports facilities as well as taking other measures.
