Instead of training a few athletes to win medals at the Olympics, governments should spend the money on programmes encouraging the public to be active and stay healthy. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

It is argued that the money should be spent by the government on events promoting the public to be healthy and active, instead of educating numerous athletes to achieve medals at the Olympics. Although winning medals at the Olympics introduce the country to the world beneficially, I strongly believe that the fundamental aim of the governments needs to be considering average of public.

There is a belief that academic subjects such as history and physical science should be promoted the most by universities. However, others think higher institutions should concentrate on particular subjects like mechanics and cookery etc. In my opinion, although learning history and philosophy can derive a lot of benefits to the community, the modern world requires "human resources" to deal with pacing progress. In this essay, I will investigate this situation and express my own opinion.

In this present-day world, myriads of museums charge for entry pass whereas other museums provide free entry. There are certain reasons for the trend of entrance fee such as for profit, maintence, and control rush in the museum. Apart from this, people gives more value and respect to the historical things if there is a fees. I believe that entrance payment has a plethora of merits rather than demerits.

Nowadays with the fast-paced improvements in technology, especially in the communication industry , the use of the internet has increasingly grown, thus more people use the internet for their daily routines like shopping, ordering food, booking a hotel, reserving a flight and even taking a taxi online, and for all this reasons there are arguments that this might lead to the closing of all shops in the near future.

Whilst some proponents emphasize that it has a positive impact on the natural habitat, some opponents and I adopt a diverse stance because deforestation and plastic disposal have a deleterious impact on wildlife. In this essay, my contention will be further elaborated.

Alternative medicine is not new. It is accepted that it pre-dates conventional medicine and is still being used by many people all over the world. Some people believe that these medical practices are not safe and can cause severe damage. I am unconvinced that it is dangerous and feel that both unconventional and conventional medicine can be useful.
