Without capital punishment (the death penalty) our lives are less secure and crimes of violence increase. Capital punishment in essential to control violence in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Experts throughout both developing and developed world have debated the effectiveness of imposing death penalty upon major crimes. Some believe that without this way of punishment, society will become more vulnerable to violence, personally I agree. This essay will argue that despite some drawbacks it may have, capital punishment is necessary to keep law and order in a community.

The money spent on space research has brought enormous benefits to mankind, but it could be more usefully applied. How far do you agree?

In today’s modern world, although the expense invested in researching space has beneficially affected mankind, it could be more usefully applied. Indeed, I utterly concur with the aforementioned statement.

In recent decades, the question for aims of TV news has been raised throughout the world. In my opinion, instead of being entertaining, it is better for TV news to be educational and informative.

Do you agree that the advantages cars bring outweigh the disadvantages?

Invention of vehicles such as cars, bikes and trucks has made the life of a human being, much easier and smoother because of its convenient and faster way of transportation. Usage of cars has increased drastically over the years, which as a result leads to overcrowding on the streets. Like every invention has its own demerits, cars also have a set of disadvantages which are overpowered by their advantages.

Some people believe that only employees who have worked at a company for a long time deserve to be promoted to a higher position. What is your opinion about this?

Promotions help to boost the morale of the employees, and everyone does strive to a higher position as this provides better income and perks. There are those of the opinion that only workers with a long history with the firm should be given a promotion. I don’t fully agree with this view, and in this essay, I will argue the reasons why.

Nowadays we are producing more and more rubbish. Why do you think this is happening? What can governments do to help reduce the amount of rubbish produced?

In this materialistic world, increasing amount of waste has become a global issue.Because these days, human beings are generating excessive garbage in the surroundings.This essay will discuss that rising consumerism is a major cause and submit that promotion of three R's by the governments as a viable solution, with a relevant example.

Some people think that you can only learn about the cultures of different places by travelling to them. Other people think that you can learn just as much about these places from reading books and watching travel documentaries about them. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. People have differing views regard to the question of whether we can explore other cultures by travelling to these places or just from texts and pictures. In my opinion, it is better to take a trip to the destination we want to discover to understand its culture more.

Nowadays, there has been a booming increase in globalisation for the past 20 years, as people have increased opportunities to travel, study and work, as well as live abroad. There are social demands and needs to inject international studies into schools’ curriculum. Some people believe that it is necessary to introduce global news as a syllabus; however, others disagree. In this essay, I will examine both sides of the debate, as well as give my view.

Innovation in technology is already an utterly familiar thing. History has shown us that the male leaders of countries tend to lean towards the side of war when resolving conflicts. Women are seen as a more peaceful alternative when it comes to leadership. I totally disagree with this point of view based on two highly specific reasons.

Most artists earn low salaries and should therefore receive funding from the government in order for them to continue with their work. To what extent do you agree?

It is argued that the majority of the artists receive less wages, hence the government should pay some amount to the artists as a reward and encourage them to continue their career. However, I disagree with the statement because artists these days, receive help from many non-profit organizations and also technology has made it easier for them to get recognised globally.

People have contrasting views, whether to have a mandatory dress code at the workstation or not. In my opinion, garments only needed to be fixed for this work, where it is required, or else it could be kept free of choice.

In many nations, some people feel that it is imperative to fund the construction of high speed railway lines connecting cities, whereas the rest of the population opine that the money will be better spent on developing the existing public transport infrastructure. Both schools of thought have their pros and cons.

In many countries, traditional customs are being lost Why would this happen? What do you think school and parent should do to keep these custom alive?

Traditional customs were once considered to be potent and imperative because they were implemented by the ancestors. However, nowadays, the successors do not follow it rigorously because of the unavailability of time. So, according to me, the school should introduce a subject pertaining to rituals and parents should make the younger generation aware about their heritage by initiating stern protocols.

Nowadays, people are arguing that the impact of the plenty of media source to our public. In addition, what factors are impacting on reporting information on the news media is an issue many people feel strongly about. This essay will discuss the reason to influence these decisions.

A government's role is only to provide defense capability and urban infrastructure, such as roads, water and power. All other services, such as education, health and social security, should be provided by private groups or individuals in the community. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is true that protecting national security and maintaining the inviolate territory from other countries as well as furnishing the essential facilities including water and energy are an authority's responsibility. I, however, completely agree with those who believe that the government should also supply the fields, namely curriculum, the healthcare and the community welfare system, instead of organizations, individuals in the society.

The argument related to age of happiness, not still yet. However, in this essay we will discuss about suitable youth for joyfully. Whatever, you are young or an adult there are many ways to be happy.

Adolescent crime is increasingly becoming a common phenomenon in several countries. While it is believed by many that irrespective of how old they are, young offenders should be made to pay fully for their actions, others think otherwise. I believe that teens who have the courage to become criminals should be able to face the consequences.

Some people feel that certain workers like nurses, doctors and teachers are undervalued and should be paid more, especially when other people like film actors or company bosses are paid huge sums of money that are out of proportion to the importance of the work that they do. -How far do you agree? -What criteria should be used to decide how much people are paid?

In this era, the governments around the world regards all employees who are working in training and health division. In despite of, being a doctor, or teachers are more important to the society. But unfortunately, there is no backing from the government compared to actors and top mangers. In my opinion, should be health and education department have all support from their countries.

There is no doubt universities play a crucial role in educating society. However, while some believe this education should be geared exclusively towards subjects that may be of practical use in the future, I would agree with those who argue that one’s choice of degree should lie with the student.
