The following diagram is a flowchart of the process of recycling of the plastic bottles for production of new products. It starts with the collection of used plastic bottles from people which are then taken to a recycling facility. In the recycling center, the bottles are separated according to their type and the quality of the material. The bottles are then compressed into large blocks in order to ease the handling of the bottles after the sorting process. These blocks are then crushed into small sizes and the resultant sizes are washed to eliminate any impurities. The clean plastic fragments are then melt down and formed into small pellets. These pellets are used as the input in the manufacture of different products from plastics. The pellets are then heated once more and then pressed into various shapes depending on the final product that is required.
