It is unfortunate that in the midst of vast progress in every field of life there is also a groMh in the antisocial behaviour and people have become less respectful of each other. This essay intends to analyze some causes of this phenomenon and suggest some ways to ameliorate the situation. Today, we live in an era of technology in which the whole Earth has shrunk and become a global village. Everybody is connected to everybody through telephone lines and the lnternet, but the warmth of relationships has taken a back seat. Most people have more than enough wealth, comfort and freedom, but their hearts desire even more. To satisfy their hearts greed people have become workaholics, and as a result have no time for family and friends. People have become selfish, isolated and indifferent. Each person is busy in his own quest for more. To add to it, the youngsters who are at ease with the new technology think that the elderly are good for nothing and that is why they don't respect them...

While the former is valid to some extent, I consider myself an advocate of the latter.

In recent times advanced hardware is being used increasingly often to observe humans' behaviour. Most of the times, they are clueless that this is happening. While this technology has numerous advantages, it has just as many disadvantages. This essay will focus on advantages and disadvantages of human observation, and I will provide my own opinion on the matter at the end. On the one hand, surveillance can help make the world a better place. Firstly, it can reduce the number of committed crimes. Using security cameras, the police can determine the rulebreaker and give them a deserving punishment. For instance, the credit system in China is reliant on security cameras and AI. Whenever a person commits a crime, the AI detects them, compares their face with everyone registered in the database, and punishes them with a decrease in credit score. Children and teenagers, however, can connect with their friends through online communication software so that children now can learn and communicate from far distances. Besides, children can be easily attracted by the activities in educational computer programs, allowing them to learn well in a fun environment. For all of these amazing benefits, we do believe that children should be allowed to get to know about technology in the early ages which will help them to grow independently in this fast-paced generation. In a related study, the e-Learning Foundation showed that children with Internet access at home get higher grades.
