Do you think that an ageing society will disappear? What are the advantages and disadvantages of having more old people in society?

Many developed countries, for example, Japan, South Korea, the US etc. are experiencing the progress of turning into an aging society. The trend is likely unavoidable. There are both upsides and downsides of an aging society from the economic and social perspectives. It is crucial for the whole society to adapt to the change.

Success is only a question of luck. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

For some people accomplishment is associated with luck, however, for others, it is directly proportional to the amount forwork one puts in. Additionally, there is no one rule that is acceptable to everyone. People tend to have different criteria for the analysis of their achievements. In general, it is considered a parameter to judge the outcome. For instance, there are two students who want to be a doctor and luckily, they somehow, managed to achieve a degree but it is not guaranteed, both take it as an achievement. In addition, there is a possibility that one of them wants to be a doctor with distinction, so for him earning a degree like the rest is not a success. On the other hand, the other person is satisfied and happy.

In many countries, people are now living longer than ever before. Some people say an ageing population creates problems for governments. Other people think there are benefits if society has more elderly people. To what extent do the advantages of having an ageing population outweigh the disadvantages?

People have different views on the ageing population, which has been discussed for decades. While there are some positive effects of the increasing number of elderly people, I do believe that the advantages are outweighed by the disadvantages.

There has been a fierce debate among whether children use smartphones for long hours is a positive or negative trendency. I basically believe the advantages of this development outshine the disadvantages of it, but we still cannot ignore the drawbacks that smartphones bring to children. The reason why some children spend many time on smartphones may results from the technology. It is more convenient for the younger nowadays to have an access to digital devices than before, since it is common to have these gadgets in many families in modern society.

Nowadays people believe that the high sales of common consumer products refer to the strength of publicity and not the necessary needs of the society in which they are sold. I partially agree with this statement and discuss the reasons in the following paragraphs with relevant examples.

In contemporary society, the primary purpose of schooling has been under heated debate. Many people hold the view that transforming students into good citizens and workers is the fundamental goal of education rather than concentrating on individual betterment. From my perspective, I agree with the given sentiment and this course of the essay will elaborate carefully to provide the reasons for my personal opinion.

Irrefutably, rewards given in schools help in encouraging students towards hard work. However, some individuals believe that prizes should be given to students who score the highest marks in academics. Whilst others accept that scholars who show substantial improvement in their scores should be given rewards. I fervently agree that both notions can reap astounding benefits for students. I shall discuss the same in forthcoming paragraphs.

Nowadays, the business sector has become more competitive than in the past. This means that employers call for being more talented in socialisation and being strongly educated. In my opinion, having social skills are more vital compared to good qualifications in this century. In this essay, what are the benefits of being social in business competition will be explained in the coming paragraph with a logical conclusion.

Few people think that juveniles should be punished the same as adults for doing serious crimes like robbery and mudders. I disagree with this statement because everyone deserves a second chance and another reason is if they share the same bars with serious criminals then they become like them.

In modern society, some people believe that the government should financially support the retired, ageing population while others think they should be able to be financially independent. I believe that the government should definitely support retired workers, especially the ones who have had a larger impact on the country’s well-being.

In many countries today, parents are able to choose to send their childen to single-sex schools or co-educational schools. Some people think that children going to single-sex schools have disadvantages later in life. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Parents play an imperative role in the grooming and upbringing of their children,however,when it comes to deciding the best school for them which not only provides an ecstatic learning environment but also moulds their personality in accordance with the norms and values of the society,some opt for uni-sex institutes while other prefers co-learning facilities.Many individuals have a notion that sending kids to single-sex school have drawbacks which become obvious later in life and I wholly agree with this.This essay will discuss both the positives and the negatives of this crucial decision which parents take with uttermost care.

Owing to the irreversible trend of globalization, people are motivated to learn foreign languages for overseas travel and study. Some argue that students should acquire a second language once they attend school whilst others contend that they should start during secondary school. It is obvious that learning a second language early in earlier childhood can enhance students’ international competitiveness in both academic and career aspects. On the contrary, the amount of time can be invested in sensory motor development if young kids start learning foreign languages during secondary education, leading to better holistic development. From my perspective, I believe that the two ideations stand their ground, depending on the parenting styles.

Employment plays a very crucial role in one life. Through employment, people tend to get the wages to get basic the necessities of life. There are two different types of categories of employment. Firstly, is working as an employee for some organization. Secondly, is the self employment where a person doesn’t work under some boss, rather he is a boss and a worker himself. Self- employment has two different types such as the individual owns his own business and the second option is working as a freelancer.

It is argued that government is to be responsible for the choice of all disciplines that students study at the university. This essay totally disagrees with this statement. College attendants should be given freedom in the selection of minor subjects.
