The trend of today’s children being attracted to other countries' art and literature than their own country has led people to focus on the importance of teaching children the literature of their own country rather than other countries. Personally, I agree and feel that teaching literature of their own country will help children to honor their country’s authors work and also understand their nation’s rich heritage.
