According to Robin Dunbar, an anthropologist and psychologist in the University of Oxford, people can hardly keep up with the lives and interests of more than 150 people in real life. But with social media, people can easily keep track of the lives of more than 150 people. However, the main problem is the lack of deeper connections to them because any face-to-face time is hardly invested into these relationships, unlike friendships in reality.
