In several countries, it is prohibited to reject job applicants just because of their age. I believe that this is a favorable development because older applicants have more technical experience to bring in to the workplace, they also contribute to transferring the necessary job skills to younger individuals. Additionally, while holding the job, they can secure job related benefits which will contribute to their overall quality of life. This essay will explain why is this is considered a positive development, demonstrating that preventing older job seekrs from applying for job posts should remain illegal.
