There are various reasons why people believe that universities should only offer curricula for young, high-performance students. First of all, young people are thinking, creative, sharper, learning faster, adapting to new environments more quickly, and acquiring knowledge faster. Not only that, when they have flying colors, their good performances indicate their competence, and their background knowledge is very good. Packaged foods and beverages contain high sugar, which is responsible for many health problems. I'm afraid I have to disagree with increasing sugar-consumed product prices to encourage people to consume less sugar because of the sugar's health effects. Letting people know what they eat would be more effective than increasing junk food prices. Also, we need to give people freedom of choice.
