Nowadays people waste a lot of food that was bought from shops and restaurants. Why do you think people waste food? What can be done to reduce the amount of food they throw away?

In many nations, local citizens are forced to work long hours, which urge them to eat a variety of foods in modern food courts at regular intervals. In this scenario, people wasting the food unnecessarily when compared home cooked food. There are a number of causes of this situation, but certain measures could be taken to alleviate the problem. This essay will discuss about the causes and suggest viable solution.

Walking is scientifically proven to be beneficial for people's health. However, in this hustle and bustle society, there is a decline in the number of walkers on a daily basis. In my perspectives, this problem is caused by several reasons and we could come up with some solutions to encourage them to spend more time walking.

Task 2 Under British and Australian laws, a jury in a criminal case has no access to information about the defendant’s past criminal record. This protects the person who is being accused of the crime. Some lawyers have suggested that this practice should be changed and that a jury should be given all the past facts before they reach their decision about the case. Do you agree or disagree?

Current British and Australian criminal laws, a jury has no authorization to obtain past criminal record of the defendant. Therefore, it is suggested that this method should be modified, and a jury should be provided with all the information about the person, who commits a crime, before the decision is made. I agree with this point of view and think that all past committed crime records are necessary to make a fair decision.

It is not necessary to travel to other places to learn about other cultures. We can learn from books, films and Internet. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is commonly thought that travelling to other places in order to learn about other cultures is unnecessary. While I do not agree that we should only learn new cultures through books, films or Internet. I believe that these distance methods are still helpful for some people.

Some experts believe that it is better for children to begin learning a foreign language at primary school rather than secondary school. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

There has been some suggestions given by experts state that children gain more benefit from learning a language other than their mother-tongue from an early age before going to secondary school. It is true that this method can have some advantages, but there are also drawbacks in it. So the question is whether the pros can outnumber the cons or is this an invalid approach?

In recent years, there has been a growing tendency towards self-employment all over the world. In this essay, I will analyze some main reasons for this trend, as well as examine its drawbacks. One of the reasons that could explain why more people are choosing to be self-employed nowadays is that most people believe that entrepreneurs are likely to have better income potential. It is true that traditionally employed workers usually receive fixed salaries for their positions while self-employed individuals can gain higher income upon the development of their business. Another possible reason is the flexibility of deciding when and where to work. People who are self-employed can have more chances to set their own working hours and have the freedom to choose their workplace. Thanks to technological and scientific advances, the food the buy has changed in varies and quality. While some people think it has more drawbacks, in my opinion, it has more merits for society.

There is no doubt that without having a higher degree a man cannot survive in this world. In my opinion, I strongly think that the pupil need to take the incharge of their academic performance.

The influence of media is growing stronger and stronger as time passes. The speed at which news travels around the world has become faster with the advancement in technology. Nowadays, foreign exchanging programmes are hold popularly in many countries by famous universities or even secondary and primary schools. Some teachers believe that these activities would bring for teenage school students advantages a great deal. Despite some drawbacks of this idea, I think that the benefits are more significant.
