The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.

The two charts above are presenting the data related to housework and electrical appliances. In the first chart, we can see that the overall percentages are increasing, which means that there are more and more families holding electrical appliances from 1920 to 2019. Looking at the graph for the refrigerator, we can see that they changed the most rapidly, there was almost 0% of the households that had a fridge in 1920. However, in 1980, all the families in this country had a fridge in the house. In addition, there is a weird graph in the first chart, which is the graph of the washing machine. There was a significant drop from 1960 to 1980.

Languages play a vital role in globalization. Some people think that we should discover new languages for increased connections internationally. There are manifold advantages of inventing a new language which surpasses drawbacks. Therefore, I will give an explanation in the ensuing paragraphs.

In some countries, people waste a lot of food that they have bought from shops and restaurants. Why do you think people waste food in that way? What can be done to reduce the amount of food they throw away?

In recent years, the number of people who eat in restaurants has gradually escalated, especially because the pandemic is almost over. However, family who dines in sometimes did not finish their meal due to large of portion and bad taste. I personally believe that kind of issues can be overcome by make sure the size before ordering and choosing the cuisine wisely.

Some people argue that it is no reason to protect animals experiencing extinction. I can entirely not agree with the idea.

In my opinion, now is the best time in the history of mankind to be alive. Rapid advancement of technology and its applications across various industries is the prime reason for it. But I also fantasize how different it would have been to live during the industrial revolution.

Students opt for different types of courses during their time at the university. Some are of the opinion that they should only be taking courses which would help them in their future while others believe in freedom of subjects selection based on individual's interest. In this essay, I will discuss both views views and argue why freedom in selecting subjects is best path forward.

Children are always precious to their parents and due to this reason they try to give the best in everyways. Teaching skills is more beneficial to children according to some parents, whereas others are more focussed on teching their children through a variety of subjects in schools.

More and more young people from wealthy countries are spending time in communities in poorer countries doing unpaid work such as teaching or building houses. Why is this? Who benefits from this, the communities or these young people?

Ownership of mobile phones has risen dramatically in recent years despite the potentially harmful effects they may have on our health and society. Governments should introduce measures to restrict ownership of mobile phones to those who need them for their work. To what extent fo you agree or disagree with this statement?

In this modern day and age, humans spend most, if not all their time around electronic devices, whether at work or at home. One of the electronic devices which we often keep in closest proximity to ourselves is none other than the mobile phone. However, there has been concerns over the significant rise in ownership of mobile phones lately which might have potentially harmful effects on the health of humans as well as society as a whole. Hence, should the government make the leap to restrict ownership of mobile phones only to those who use them for work?

Research shows that some activities are good for health and others are bad. Despite knowing that, millions of people engage in unhealthy activities. What is the cause of this? What can be done?

Choice of activities by individuals has always been a debatable issue; however few common studies have distinguished the difference between suitable and inappropriate activities that should be done by people. Modern world often influences everyone to adapt to activities which have ill effects on health, but somehow activities like utilization of the internet and social media are irresistible. I believe making a wise choice and having self-control of a strict routine might change the ever growing trend of choosing unhealthy activities.

Sending criminals to prison is not the best method of dealing with them. Education and job training are better ways to help them. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There are controversial perspectives heating up a debate over whether it is the best way to deal with lawbreakers.While some claim that incarcerating convicts is not the most effective strategy for dealing with them, others make an argument that education and job training are more effective methods of assisting them. From my perspective, while the former is valid to some extent, I consider myself an advocate of the latter.

The social behaviour of individuals changes from childhood to adulthood life. This fact provides the question that "in what ways, the social behaviour of adults and children is different" and "how do the changes in children's life can you steer them toward a good situation ". the significant differences between children's and adults' social behaviour can be attributed to psychological and economical reasons.

While some argue that the government is losing some money due to the investment in the cultural aspects such as music and museums, others insist that the government should spend more money using public services. I am more inclined to the latter statement although I partly admit the former argument.

Many small, local shops are closing as they are unable to compete with large supermarkets in the area. How does this affect local communities? How could this situation be improved?

There is no doubt in saying that large shopping centres have somehow overtaken the business of small, local shops in their respective local markets. Not only local communities are being negatively affected due inefficiency of the local market to stay in competition with major shopping centres but it is disadvantageous for the income generation of vendors involved in this business. According to my perception, for the benefit of local shops and ,communities it is essential to improvise the quality of goods, and other items which are being sold by the local vendors to engage customer retention.

Students can now easily access information on the internet; however, I believe libraries play an important role in society and for students, so their continued existence is essential.

Some of us believe that criminal behavior is due to genetic reasons , although others think that it is because of the circumstances that lead to crime. There could be many reasons for criminals to opt for crimes. Mostly, the situational reasons have been more evident in case of the criminal behavior than the heredity of the lawbreaker. I opined that events can cause criminal behavior. This essay will analyse both the reasons with regard to cause of criminal behavior.
