In my opinion, although allowing children to make their choices in anything may spoil them and lead to a society lacking of cooperation, its benefits on kids' personality development can not be ignored.

On the other hand, people with families deserve to be cared for by family regardless of financial obligation. The family should be supported in old age the means of mental obligation.
