Some people argue that all experimentation on animals is bad and should be outlawed. However, others believe that important scientific discoveries can be made from animal experiments. Can experimentation on animals be justified? Are there any alternatives?

Humanity is always striving to find ways in order improve, adapt or overcome problems. In my opinion, through only animal experimentation has humanity advanced so far in a matter of centuries. Animal testing has enabled scientist and researchers alike the ability to safely experiment their inventions, without the fear of sacrificing human life.

With the increased global demand for oil and gas, undiscovered areas of the world should be opened up to access more resources. To what extent do you agree?

In today’s fast-paced world, the increasing reliance on crude oil and natural gas has become a major concern due to the depletion of these resources. From my perspective, I believe human intervention in natural processes, like extracting crude oil, has more downsides compared to positives. Accordingly, resources should be locked or sealed so that people can adapt new energy sources as described below.
